Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations & Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution and logistics functions. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire warehouse operations, transportation planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes to ensure seamless distribution and fulfillment. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize resource utilization, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and materials management to ensure operational excellence. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles and process management techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) for planning, scheduling, and tracking freight movements across multiple channels including 3PL providers and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners. Manage warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with procurement, production planning, and demand planning teams to meet customer requirements accurately and on time. Monitor inventory levels using ERP systems and warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring inventory accuracy and optimal stock levels. Prepare budgets, analyze profit & loss statements, and control costs related to logistics, freight, shipping & receiving, and warehouse operations. Lead a team of warehouse team members by providing managerial communication, supervising performance, fostering teamwork, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain management. Also will play a role in staffing the right team. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a fast-paced distribution environment- cold/ frozen products preferred. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory control, procurement, demand planning, production planning, and logistics management. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement projects using Lean methodologies or similar continuous improvement frameworks. Excellent managerial communication skills with experience supervising teams in warehousing or logistics settings. Familiarity with freight forwarding processes such as NVOCC operations and 3PL partnerships is highly desirable. Ability to analyze supply chain analytics for decision-making purposes; experience with distribution operations is essential.
