Citizens National Bank has an excellent opportunity available in our Operations Center in Bluffton, Ohio for a Operations Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and processing all items related to the Deposit Operations of the Bank.
A typical day may include the following:
- Monitor and address all non-post, stop pays, positive pay or NSF items on a daily basis
- Process foreign items and returned mail.
- Process chargeback's, ACH items, wires and CD/IRAs.
- Verify that signatures on all wires are in compliance with Bank policy.
- Process daily account maintenance requests in accordance with Bank policy and file properly.
- Process daily reports and settlements as delegated by the VP Operations Manager.
- Monitor and process lockbox items, new account documents and handling account exceptions.
- Process levies, garnishments and bankruptcy requests.
- Process branch capture work and for review of mobile and merchant capture deposits.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two years' experience desired.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have stellar written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts of difficult procedural and technical nature and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft products.
