Job Overview: We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and team management of two smaller U.S. subsidiaries within the Group. This role will leverage the Group’s established operating practices to build standardized, efficient, and scalable processes appropriate for lean teams. Given the current team size, this is a hands-on management role. The Operations Manager is expected to work closely with day-to-day operations, solve practical operational issues, and establish cross-training and backup coverage for critical functions to ensure business continuity. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations and order fulfillment for two U.S. subsidiaries, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and on time. Oversee operational processes including order processing, receiving, shipping, inventory, and logistics. Use NetSuite and other ERP systems to support daily operations and identify and resolve process or system transaction issues. Leverage established operating practices within the Group to improve and standardize processes and develop practical SOPs appropriate for the size of the businesses. Manage and train a lean operations team, developing multi-role capabilities, cross-training, and backup coverage for critical functions. Coordinate operational activities with other U.S. affiliates and the overseas headquarters, and drive timely resolution of cross-functional operational issues. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above. 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, order fulfillment, warehousing/logistics, or a related field. Strong hands-on operational experience with the ability to work directly with day-to-day processes and solve practical problems. Familiarity with ERP business processes; NetSuite experience is preferred. Experience in process improvement, SOP development, team management, and employee training. Comfortable working in a lean team environment where employees may perform multiple functions. Strong sense of ownership, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional communication capabilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with U.S.-based teams and overseas headquarters. Preferred: Experience in the chemical or B2B distribution industry. Experience managing operations or building processes in a small or growing organization is also preferred.
