Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations, productivity, and performance of all field and shop personnel. Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and accountability to employees. Maintain a strong presence in the field and shop to ensure quality workmanship, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of structural steel erection and fabrication operations. Prepare and manage project estimates, schedules, manpower, equipment, and material requirements. Coordinate material procurement, fabrication activities, and project execution to support timely project completion. Monitor project progress and operational performance to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Attend pre-construction meetings and communicate project requirements, expectations, and schedules to field personnel. Serve as the primary liaison between customers, field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers. Build and maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Resolve operational, project, and customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards. Promote and enforce a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of experience in structural steel erection, fabrication, or a related construction field. Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience overseeing field and/or shop personnel. Strong knowledge of structural steel erection processes, fabrication operations, and construction sequencing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, specifications, and project documents. Experience with project estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and material procurement. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, jobsite safety requirements, and industry best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email, spreadsheets, and scheduling software. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
