Operations Manager

Duties Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, employee orientation, and ongoing development to build a high-performing team. Manage daily store operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales potential. Oversee sales management activities such as pricing strategies, sales tracking, and customer service standards to ensure consistent revenue growth. Coordinate purchasing and POS (Point of Sale) system operations, ensuring accurate cash handling, cashiering procedures, and payroll processing. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative work environment with strong managerial communication skills. Implement operational policies and procedures aligned with company standards; monitor compliance through supervision and training. Handle administrative responsibilities including bookkeeping, budgeting, shift management, and maintaining organizational records for smooth store functioning. Requirements Proven management experience in retail or a similar customer service environment with supervisory or assistant manager roles preferred. Strong knowledge of retail industry sales team management, retail math, pricing strategies, and inventory management systems (POS systems). Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development, and leadership. Proficiency in basic math for cash handling, bookkeeping, budgeting, and operational calculations; familiarity with retail math concepts essential. Experience with merchandising, stock control systems, purchasing procedures, and inventory oversight required. Ability to manage time effectively across shift management duties while maintaining high standards of customer service.
