Operations Manager

Job Overview As an Operations Manager, you’ll keep retail store operations moving smoothly while supporting a strong customer experience. You’ll coordinate staffing, sales-floor execution, inventory, purchasing, and daily financial processes. This role calls for hands-on leadership, clear communication, and the ability to balance customer needs with operational priorities. Duties Lead and supervise store teams, manage shifts, and support recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training and development. Coordinate retail sales and sales management activities, merchandising, stocking, pricing, and inventory management and control. Oversee point-of-sale (POS) systems, cashiering, cash handling, payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and basic retail math. Manage purchasing and product knowledge while addressing customer service needs and supporting retail industry sales teams. Your impact: Consistent staffing, inventory control, and service practices help customers find products and enable employees to work effectively. Experience Experience in operations management, retail management, store management, or operational management; assistant manager or supervising experience is relevant. Skills in team management, leadership, negotiation, managerial communication, time management, and organizational skills. Familiarity with POS systems, retail sales, sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, payroll, bookkeeping, and budgeting. Basic math and retail math skills, along with cash handling, cashiering, and phone etiquette. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are welcome; clear communication and retail store product knowledge are valuable. Pay: $69,700.00 - $84,100.00 per year Work Location: In person
