Operations Manager, Event Fabrication & Logistics
Redmax Events LLCBig events, tons of variety, fun, and room to build better ways of getting things done. About Redmax Events We build the stuff on display at major sporting events, trade shows, festivals, and brand experiences, the things people point at, take pictures with, talk about, and remember. Our work brings events to life through ideation, fabrication, craftsmanship, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes finding ways to make it happen. The work can move fast, the details matter, and there’s usually one shot to get it right because the event date doesn’t care how your week is going. The people who stick around love the team, the energy, the pace, and all the opportunity to work on creative projects with a young and quickly growing company. How You’ll Contribute We're growing and need someone with experience running operations and logistics to help us get better at how we get things done. You'll bring more structure to the moving parts behind our custom fabrication projects. Our work involves everything from carpentry and CNC fabrication to large-format printing, with different materials, equipment, and logistics to coordinate. You'll identify problems, put better processes in place, and keep things running efficiently and cost-effectively to drive smoother jobs and installations, clean and maintained inventory, and operations that stay organized when a lot is happening at once. What You’ll Get To Do Make operations more efficient and cost-effective by collaborating closely across departments to identify problems, streamline processes, and develop, implement, and maintain SOPs. Keep jobs and installations moving smoothly by improving how trucking, warehouse operations, loading, and job logistics are organized, tracked, and coordinated. Improve how we organize and track equipment, tools, and materials to keep our inventory clean, maintained, and accounted for. Shape how our operations evolve as the company grows, identifying what needs to change, setting priorities, and leading improvements across departments. Who You Are You've run operations before and know what it takes to keep multiple parts of a business moving at once. You've managed vehicle and trucking operations and understand DOT requirements. You have a natural drive to bring order to moving parts. When information is scattered across departments, you instinctively see what needs to be organized, tracked, and connected so everyone knows where things stand. You're comfortable walking into a place where some things work and others need figuring out. You know what's worth keeping and when to suggest a better way, even if it's been done the same way for years. You're naturally curious about how things work and why they don't. You value the perspective of people closest to the work and know that the best operational improvements start with understanding what's really happening. You thrive where things are constantly changing and evolving. The variety of custom projects, shifting priorities, and challenges that come with a growing company energize you. You like figuring out how to bring order to it all without slowing things down. Even Better, But Not Required Experience in event fabrication or a related industry. Familiar with tools, equipment, and materials used in custom fabrication, woodworking, CNC production, or large-format printing. Typical Schedule Our standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, based out of Ronkonkoma, NY. Sometimes operations or changes to a job require additional hours to keep things moving. Weeks over 40 hours happen, but not consistently. What’s In It For You Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 with potential to move into a Chief Operating Officer role or take on broader responsibility for operations across different departments as the company grows.
