Operations Manager

Essential Job Duties : Place and receive food orders Manage food and supply inventory by utilizing pallet jacks and a forklift as needed Provide general housekeeping of Warehouse and Office Space Operate and oversee maintenance of the RVF4K box truck to pick up and deliver food Oversee, schedule, and facilitate volunteer activities Plan, prepare, and implement strategic goals with the Exec. Director Assist with grant writing and the implementation of grant program fulfillment as needed Assist with social media oversight Assist with community events as needed Assist with and/or attend fundraisers put on by the organization as needed Keep client information confidential Minimum Job Requirements: Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to pass a background check Physical Job Requirements : Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures, both hot and cold Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to push and pull 2,500 lbs often with pallet jack Certifications and Licensure : Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation with insurance. Forklift certification, preferred Experience and Qualifications : Experience in inventory management, preferred Leadership or management experience, preferred Ability to operate an electric and non-electric pallet jack and forklift Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact positively with the public, volunteers, clients, and staff Computer skills including knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email. Personal maturity, a strong sense of responsibility, discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to relate well and problem solve with others and as a team. A strong passion of the organization's mission of fighting food insecurity in local children. Any other duties/responsibilities as directed by the Executive Director and/or Board of Directors.
