Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to join our Mississauga team and oversee daily morning warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team, prioritize daily operational needs, and ensure a smooth and productive start to the day. Key Responsibilities Oversee morning warehouse operations, ensuring daily tasks and processing requirements are completed efficiently and on time. Supervise and support a team of warehouse employees, providing direction, coaching, training, and guidance as needed. Organize daily priorities and assign team members based on workload, processing volume, and operational needs. Monitor daily processing volumes and adjust staffing and task allocation accordingly. Coordinate with other departments and warehouse locations to maintain an efficient workflow and address operational needs. Identify and resolve operational or team challenges in a timely and effective manner. Demonstrate strong leadership and accountability while fostering a positive, productive, and respectful work environment. Implement, communicate, and enforce warehouse safety procedures and expectations. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support team member growth and development. Maintain clear and open communication with team members and management regarding priorities, challenges, updates, and operational needs. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Uphold workplace health and safety standards throughout the warehouse and ensure team members consistently follow safe work practices. Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment. Hands-on experience with cross-border procedures and paperwork is an asset. Flexible schedule, with full availability to work evening shifts until close and weekends as needed. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a strong asset. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Technical savvy, proficient in using various tools and platforms including inventory management software. Salary Range : $70,000- $80,000 What’s in it for me?
