Operations Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and precision. Duties Manage daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, cash handling, and customer service standards. Lead, supervise, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding service experiences. Oversee employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and productivity. Coordinate recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, conducting assessments, and onboarding new employees. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and ensure accurate record-keeping for all financial transactions. Maintain inventory management systems, monitor stock levels, and oversee merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Implement pricing strategies, manage POS (Point of Sale) systems, and oversee purchasing activities to optimize profitability. Requirements Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing retail sales operations. Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and managerial communication to foster a positive work environment. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation processes. Familiarity with payroll administration, bookkeeping, inventory management software, POS systems, and cash handling procedures. Demonstrated leadership in retail management roles with a focus on sales management, merchandising, stock control, and operational efficiency. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks using effective time management strategies. Basic math skills for daily cash reconciliation and inventory calculations; proficiency in retail math is preferred.
