As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our team. Our team comes from a variety of professional backgrounds, and we believe the right attitude, work ethic, and problem-solving abilities are just as important as previous industry experience. Experience in transportation or logistics is an asset, but absolutely not a requirement. We're happy to train the right individual. The Role As an Operations Executive, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day execution of our customers' freight shipments. You'll be responsible for sourcing and negotiating with transportation carriers, providing competitive freight quotations, coordinating shipments, and ensuring freight moves efficiently from pickup through delivery. You'll work closely with our Sales and Customer Service teams to provide customers with competitive pricing and reliable transportation solutions. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think on your feet. Every day presents different challenges, and we're looking for someone who enjoys finding solutions and taking ownership of their work. What You'll Be Doing Source and negotiate competitive freight rates with transportation carriers across North America Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations for our sales team and customers Coordinate freight shipments and ensure they are executed efficiently Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation carriers Identify and develop new carrier relationships to expand our transportation network Work closely with our Sales and Customer Service departments to ensure customer expectations are met Monitor shipments and proactively address potential service issues Resolve transportation challenges, including scheduling conflicts, delays, and carrier-related issues Identify opportunities to improve pricing, operational efficiency, and profitability Maintain accurate shipment information within our Transportation Management System (TMS) Collaborate with team members to develop creative solutions to complex transportation requirements Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve our operational processes as the company continues to grow Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is motivated, resourceful, and eager to develop their career in a growing company.
