Operations Coordinator

As Operations Coordinator within the Pinch Flatbed's Dedicated Freight Services (DFS) team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a top tier Logistics Company. Responsibilities mainly include but not limited to: Managing the freight chain from customers request to delivery in an efficient and cost effective manner Managing a high level of email volume Manage a fleet of drivers throughout Pinch's DFS division to ensure timely pickup and delivery requirements set by customers Ensure the fleet of drivers are following Pinch and DOT rules and regulations Ensuring drivers are trained on proper OS&D procedures, communication and Pinch operations requirements Taking orders from customers via email and phone, negotiating competitive rates, providing proper documentation and ensuring delivery schedules within an expedited time-frame Expediting as necessary to ensure customers transportation requirements are taken care of Retaining a fair amount of knowledge of Oilfield Hotshot and/or Flatbed Freight and general operations Assisting with setting up permits and equipment necessary to haul the customer’s cargo Fully Utilizing a Pinch's Trucking Software (TMS) on a daily basis Benefits: Major Medical Insurance Dental and Vision Insurance Matching 401(k) Paid Time Off Program ( vacation, personal, & sick time ) And More Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years full-time work experience; college degree preferred Trucking Operations Software experience preferred Vast understanding of Oilfield Hotshot and/or Flatbed trucking operations 3+ years flatbed dispatching experience preferred Ability to deal with a sporadic, fast-paced environment Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills Strong work ethic, solid negotiation and conflict-management skills Sufficient typing skills If interested, please contact us by responding to this ad through Indeed apply or message us through Indeed For more information on the company, please visit our website at pinchtransport.com Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Experience: Transportation Dispatch: 1 year (Required) Transportation management systems: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77073 (Required) Work Location: In person
