The Role
We’re looking for an Operations Associate to join our Business Operations team. This role is well suited for someone early in their career who wants to build expertise in business operations and grow with Parsyl as the business scales.
The core of this role is policy processing and issuance—your primary focus will be on ensuring policies are accurate, issued on time, and properly recorded. Beyond that core, you’ll have the chance to use AI tools to improve how we work and contribute to operational initiatives as the business grows.
What You’ll Do
Policy Processing & Issuance (Primary Focus)
- Manage policy issuance and processing workflows, preventing backlogs and ensuring on-time delivery to brokers and insured clients
- Review policy terms, conditions, and pricing for accuracy in coordination with Underwriters
- Process endorsements and maintain detailed, high-quality policy records across Parsyl’s operational systems
- Support billing and premium collection processes alongside the accounting team
Operational Innovation
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and use AI to build tools that make the team more efficient
- Work with product, technology, and data teams to implement automation and improve operational capabilities
Business Operations Support
- Support special projects as they arise across business operations
- Help teammates during high-volume periods like reporting cycles and audits
- Ensure operational processes scale with the business
Requirements

Experience and Expertise
- At least 1 year of professional experience in operations, administration, or process-oriented roles.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately across complex information and multiple data points
- Comfort with developing and executing repeatable tasks that produce consistent results.
- Interest in using AI and technology to improve processes
- Proven ability to learn complex processes or topics quickly and apply them consistently
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Inclination to take initiative and solve problems using available resources
- Excellence in building relationships and rapport across teams
It’s ideal if you have:
- Experience in insurance, supply chain, or the intersection of technology and operations
- Experience with ticketing or workflow management systems
- Proficiency in G-Suite
- Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment
Benefits
Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $58,000-70,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s location, experience, qualifications, and skills.
