Compensation & Benefits Comprehensive Health & Dental Benefits RRSP Matching Program Paid training and development Permanent full-time employment Overtime opportunities based on operational requirements Position Summary The Operations Assistant supports the day-to-day activities of MobilGrain's rail maintenance, equipment maintenance, and overall operations in Delisle, Saskatchewan. This position offers a wide variety of responsibilities, combining administrative coordination, inventory management, maintenance scheduling, and hands-on operational support. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of managers and mechanics to coordinate inspections, organize work lists, maintain equipment documentation, track project information, and ensure parts and supplies are available to support operations. Key Responsibilities Schedule equipment inspections. Monitor inventories and maintain accurate records. Organize maintenance work lists. Load and unload trucks. Organize and maintain equipment manuals. Track project information. Coordinate contractors and couriers. Order and purchase parts and supplies. Pick up parts and supplies in Saskatoon. Assist with general shop activities and other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail. Positive attitude toward workplace safety. Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Optimistic and solutions-oriented approach to work. Strong organizational and methodical work habits. Comfortable using technology and learning new applications. Responsible, diligent, and dependable. Willingness to respond to occasional after-hours calls or work requirements. Confidence operating equipment such as forklifts or skid steers. Valid Driver's Licence. Railway or agricultural experience considered an asset. Work Schedule Full-time position based in Delisle, Saskatchewan. On-site work in the equipment maintenance shop. After-hours calls or work may be required based on operational needs.
