• Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer needs and shipment requirements.
• Assist the sales team in providing quotes to customers and overseas agents.
• Ensure accuracy in quoting, billing, and cost entry processes.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors.
• Prepare, maintain, and process shipment files in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Skills required:
• 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with databases.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Language: English and French (spoken)As we will be handling shipment for our French-speaking client based in Quebec, proficiency in both English and French is required.
