On-Site Diesel Technician
CumminsJob Summary: Technical specialist and regular customer support contact to diagnose and complete less complex repairs to Cummins products at a single customer’s site. We are looking for a talented On-Site Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Mesa, AZ). We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls unassisted Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software CNG and transit bus knowledge preferred A current valid license is required for this role Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing. Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
