Oklahoma City, OK - Fuel Dispatcher

Job Description: Sentinel Transportation is Hiring a Fuel Dispatcher for Night Shift in Oklahoma City, OK Pay: $60,000 - $65,000 Per Year 12 Hour Shift: Night Shift Skills and/or Experience Two or more years working experience as a Dispatcher in the transportation industry Previous experience in a hazardous materials environment preferred Previous knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, FHWA and HM and other regulations related to the transportation of chemicals and petroleum products helpful Experience in using new and emerging technologies. Ability to communicate in English with individuals, using a mix of verbal and written communication styles. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications Responsibilities Monitor customer fuel levels, manage inventories, build fuel orders, and based off the data, create a driver delivery schedule to fulfill the customers need for the next shift. Reviews and approves customer ordered loads scheduled for delivery, updates any notes regarding runout times, customer sites or tanks in the Transportation Management System (TMS). Insert TMW number in the TMS for every order created, adds notes regarding deadheads and tolls in the system. Manage driver and equipment utilization when time permits for additional loads. Receives dealer order requests and schedules driver deliveries. Collaborates with TMS Group and Management to resolve errors generated by TMW, such as expiration dates on trailers and/or equipment. Skills and/or Experience Two or more years working experience as a Dispatcher in the transportation industry Previous experience in a hazardous materials environment preferred Previous knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, FHWA and HM and other regulations related to the transportation of chemicals and petroleum products helpful Experience in using new and emerging technologies.
