Oil Delivery Driver
Bane OilJob Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Home Fuel Oil safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills. Requirements Current CDL Hazmat Qualification Air Brakes Certification Responsibilities Operate a variety of Oil Trucks. Loading Fuel Truck from Storage Tanks. Planning and Organizing Delivery Trips Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines while driving to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road. Assist in training new drivers on vehicle operation and company protocols as needed. Pulling Fuel Hose between 20 and 100 feet. Insuring accurate filling of fuel tank. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Proficient in operating various types of vehicles. Strong knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail for accurate delivery documentation and vehicle inspections. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently as required during delivering fuel.
