Position Overview Northeast Two Way Radio Corp. is seeking a dependable, organized, and personable individual to support our daily office operations and customer service needs. This is a varied, hands-on position combining reception, administrative assistance, inventory support, accounts receivable, and local deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, takes initiative, and is comfortable handling different responsibilities in a small business. This position works closely with the CEO and CFO, with an opportunity to learn our products and grow into inside sales. Responsibilities · Greet walk-in customers, identify their needs, and connect them with the appropriate team member. · Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, and direct calls professionally. · Provide administrative support to the CEO and CFO, including data entry, filing, correspondence, and other office tasks. · Assist with inventory tracking, receiving shipments, and maintaining accurate equipment and supply records. · Check customer vehicles in for service or installation, document customer information and requested work, and coordinate with the service team. · Assist with accounts receivable, including recording payments, following up on outstanding invoices, and maintaining customer account records in QuickBooks. · Prepare and make bank deposits as directed. · Complete deliveries and pickups of equipment, parts, and supplies using a company vehicle. · Assist with engraving radios and other equipment; training will be provided. · Learn the company’s products and services and assist with inside sales, customer inquiries, and order processing as skills develop. · Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed to support the business. Required Qualifications · Experience using QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. · Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly phone manner. · Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage changing priorities. · Accurate data entry skills and comfort working with invoices, payments, and inventory records. · Ability to handle confidential business, customer, and financial information responsibly. · Valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the company’s vehicle insurance provider. · Comfortable driving a company vehicle in and around Boston, including city traffic, parking, and customer locations. · Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Willingness to learn new tasks and contribute wherever support is needed. Preferred Qualifications · Previous experience in office administration, reception, accounts receivable, or customer service. · Experience with inventory management or a service-oriented business. · Interest in learning about two-way radios, emergency vehicle equipment, and inside sales.
