Responsibilities Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, data collection, and data mining to ensure accurate records across warehouse distribution and retail outlets. Support demand planning and procurement processes by analyzing sales trends, coordinating sourcing activities, and utilizing ERP systems such as SAP or AS400 to streamline materials management. Maintain and update warehouse management systems (WMS) and supply chain databases to facilitate order fulfillment and materials tracking. Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize warehouse distribution strategies, including 3PL (third-party logistics) partnerships and warehouse management system (WMS) integration. Use data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to create reports on inventory levels, procurement status, and process improvements that drive operational efficiency. Assist with purchasing negotiations by gathering data insights, analyzing supplier performance, and supporting sourcing initiatives for retail merchandising. Support office operations by managing data collection tasks, coordinating with cross-functional teams on demand planning, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Qualifications Strong data analysis skills with experience in analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms. Knowledge of supply chain concepts including demand planning, materials management, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or AS400; experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Excellent process improvement skills with an ability to analyze workflows and implement efficiencies in procurement or inventory procedures. Experience working within retail management or e-commerce environments is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment; forklift certification is advantageous. Strong negotiation skills coupled with sourcing expertise for procurement activities. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting data insights visually through tools like Tableau or Power BI.
