Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. Must have passanger endorsement or be willing to obtain on your own prior to starting work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to safety regulations. Duties Safely operate vehicles, including vans, buses, or shuttles, to transport passengers to their destinations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting regular inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Follow designated routes and schedules while being adaptable to changes as needed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport. Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transport. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years with a clean driving record. Previous experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, or similar roles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people. Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to transportation services. Experience in school bus driving, limousine services, or delivery driving is a plus. Must pass background checks and any required training or certifications related to transport driving.
