Job description- Delivery Driver/Packer Job Title: Non-CDL Delivery Driver and Packer Location: Sharon, MA Job Type: Full-Time, Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Duties Safely operate a box truck to deliver products to various locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Pack orders efficiently and accurately for delivery, ensuring proper documentation and labeling Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area Communicate effectively with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, weight handling in the workplace, and safe use of company vehicles Experience Previous experience in delivery driving in large box truck required. Must have or have the ability to obtain a DOT health card. Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs and stand/sit for extended period Familiarity with commercial driving, especially using box trucks for delivery purposes Experience with manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks and moving carts is advantageous Knowledge of route driving and adherence to traffic laws is essential for safe operation Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks consistently throughout shifts Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation and communication Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Work Location: In person
