Non CDL Delivery Driver-Fedex Ground

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Non CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at FedEx Ground. This role involves delivering packages to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of the delivery process. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving, heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries. Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with clients. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during the route. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments. Requirements Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 150 lbs) consistently throughout the day with a dolly. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude towards clients. Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
