Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using barcode scanners and inventory management systems to ensure accuracy. Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting protocols. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and updates within warehouse management systems. Organize warehouse space by stocking shelves, managing storage areas, and ensuring optimal layout for quick access and safety compliance. Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to safety guidelines during all material handling activities. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against documentation, and ensuring quality control standards are met. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks; certification is preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology for logistics, and inventory management practices. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while following proper ergonomic procedures. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory levels accurately. Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly desirable; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on order picking & packing accuracy and quality control. Commitment to safety protocol adherence at all times; familiarity with PPE use is essential.
