You should be comfortable with extensive travel. Assignments may take you 500+ miles from home for weeks or even months at a time, including overnight stays and weekend work. What You'll Do Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and represent ProVantage professionally. Assemble and install heavy-duty steel shelving, pallet racking, uprights, beams, crossbars, braces and related retail fixtures. Read and follow floor plans, elevations, blueprints, and diagrams. Measure, level, align, anchor and secure steel components accurately. Lift, position and secure heavy steel components with team members. Use drills, impact drivers, levels, sockets, wrenches and other hand power tools. Keep work areas clean and organized while helping teammates safely lift, carry, and position materials and equipment. Follow all safety requirements for lifting, ladders, PPE, tools, and equipment. Communicate professionally, stay task-focused, and promptly report project issues, damages, safety hazards, or client concerns. Treat coworkers, clients, and the public respectfully and perform additional duties as assigned. Duties may change based on the role, client needs, or business priorities. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Schedule Expect 8-10 hour shifts with extended time on your feet and in constant movement. Schedules may include days, swing shifts, weekends, and overnights. You'll work alongside a team with independent work at times. ✅ What You'll Need Experience installing pallet racking, heavy steel shelving, warehouse systems or large retail fixtures. Understanding of anchoring, fastening, bracing, leveling and structural assembly methods. Comfortable working at elevated heights and around active material handling equipment. Dependability, teamwork, professionalism, and the ability to work well with others. Ability to follow detailed instructions, use basic math, solve problems, and take pride in quality work. A safety-first mindset with an ability to recognize potential jobsite hazards. Certification or experience of forklift, scissor-lift, boom-lift equipment preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy components safely. This Is a Physical Job You'll frequently stand, walk, move, reach, grab, climb ladders, twist, crawl, crouch, squat, and bend. You must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, read written instructions, see and hear clearly, and have the finger dexterity needed to use tools.
