National Sales Executive

Overview As a National Sales Executive, you’ll build customer relationships and grow business across freight and logistics services. You’ll identify opportunities, develop solutions, negotiate agreements, and coordinate with internal teams to support reliable transportation and shipping. Your impact: By matching customer needs with effective logistics solutions, you help clients move freight efficiently and strengthen long-term business relationships. Responsibilities Generate and qualify leads through prospecting, inside sales, and ongoing client communication. Manage accounts and customer relationships; provide responsive customer service and coordinate issue resolution. Develop pricing and proposals, negotiate sales and contracts, and manage the sales process from opportunity through close. Partner with operations on freight brokerage, freight forwarding, carrier sales, dispatching, transportation planning, and shipping logistics. Maintain accurate activity and account records using customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office; support data entry and electronic data interchange (EDI) processes. Qualifications Experience in B2B sales, logistics sales, transportation sales, account management, or sales management; logistics company experience is valuable. Knowledge of supply chain management, transportation management, freight, third-party logistics (3PL), air freight, and transportation management systems. Familiarity with non-vessel-operating common carriers (NVOCC), trade compliance, international trade regulations, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. Strong negotiation, pricing, client relationship management, and customer service skills. Familiarity with freight brokerage, freight forwarding logistics, carrier sales, AS400 business software, and transportation operations is preferred.
