This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes
How you will contribute
You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting “make or buy” analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

Main responsibilities:
Support NA sugar and Dairy strategy development and implementation
Analyze regional spend data and understand the business needs.
Provide regional market and supplier insights to maximize opportunities.
Define the supplier negotiation strategy at country, and/or regional level.
Represent Raw Materials Procurement NA on Projects for our internal and External Network (EM) in the projects for the region
Be part of the workshops to support providing market insights such as category profile, SKU, spend and use that information to drive overall cost improvement or business growth
Get consumer insights and market trends from the suppliers and Spend Area leads to share with stakeholders
Be in close contact with the Procurement Innovation Team and R&D to provide an understanding on commercial and supply feasibility for new ideas
Support the team to build pipeline thru Continuous Improvement (CI) ideas generated by the suppliers and help the Spend Area Category to move ideas thru I2M/Volt efficiently
Support the Spend Area in the projects execution
Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Job specific requirements: Minimum 5 years experiences in business, ideally within Procurement and/or Manufacturing.
Travel requirements: From 10% to 15%
Work schedule: From Monday to Friday. Hybrid role.
