Multi-Stop Local Reefer CDL A Driver Grocery Store Deliveries

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local grocery delivery operation delivering fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers. Drivers run multi-stop reefer routes with mostly no-touch freight and consistent weekly work. This is a steady local position with strong activity-based pay, modern equipment, and daily home time. Pay and earnings $0.68 - $0.74 per mile Average weekly pay: $1,550 - $1,650 Annualized earnings: about $83,600 - $87,600 $28.50 - $30 per stop $50 truck move pay $15 per hour detention pay Driver Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Paid time off Schedule and home time Local routes with Home daily Multi-stop loads, usually 15+ stops per week Drivers normally complete 2 loads per day or 1 long load Drivers must have reliable personal transportation to and from work daily Daycabs cannot be taken home during time off What you’ll haul Fresh and frozen grocery freight Reefer trailers in 48-foot, 51-foot, and 53-foot sizes Deliveries to supermarkets and distribution centers Mostly no-touch freight Return product pickup at the final stop or backhaul returning to the DC Approximately 20 - 25% of freight delivers in NYC Equipment Automatic and manual daycabs Reefer trailers Slip-seat equipment; the account will try to keep drivers in the same truck, but trucks are shared with a driver on the opposite shift No guarantee of the same truck Trucks remain at the account facility during time off What we need Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 - 6 months of trucking experience Comfortable with multi-stop grocery deliveries Willing to operate slip-seat equipment Able to provide personal transportation to and from work
