MRP Planner

The MRP Planner will help coordinate production workflow, analyze supply and demand against schedule to achieve on time completion and delivery of product, and interface with key internal stakeholders to status production readiness. The successful candidate will have experience using Deltek’s “Costpoint” ERP platform. Responsibilities: With use of a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, reviews and releases Manufacturing Orders (MOs) and Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in accordance with schedule Reviews material requirements of Manufacturing Orders (MOs) with inventory availability and shortages to identify and assess on-time completion and schedule risk Assesses critical path and bottlenecks within production and makes informed decisions on expediting operations to meet schedule or adjust to changing demand requirements Prepares and informs key stakeholders on Material Planning reports that assess production status, material readiness, and program health Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement Coordinates with Production to work through and identify impacts to material completion, with procurement to assist with Purchase Order (PO) placement and receipt, and Logistics to ensure accurate inventory movement Proactively works through and identifies opportunities to reduce costs, improve schedule, and enhance efficiency in the manufacturing process Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred with 5+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or similar operations management role. High School Diploma with 9+ years of experience in Production Control/Material Planning or related career field required. Experience in Deltek Costpoint ERP/MRP (preferred) or like system (i.e., SAP) Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple programs simultaneously Expert knowledge of production planning and manufacturing principles Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Able to manage multiple or constantly changing priorities effectively Please review our benefits here: Life at OSI Pay may range from $94,000 to $102,000 annually #SV1 The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
