Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Safely lift, carry, and move heavy items and furniture, adhering strictly to safety protocols and OSHA standards. Operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners, forklifts, heavy lifting tools, and order pickers to manage inventory efficiently. Organize and prepare items for transport by wrapping, packing, and labeling belongings accurately. Support warehouse operations by managing shipping & receiving processes, inventory management, and order picking tasks. Follow manual handling procedures to ensure safety during all material movements and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Collaborate with team members to load/unload materials swiftly while maintaining safety standards and proper documentation. Experience Previous warehouse distribution or warehouse experience is highly preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks is a strong advantage. Prior roles involving order picker or shipping & receiving duties will help you excel in this position. Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners enhances efficiency on the job. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following OSHA safety protocols is essential. Warehouse supervisor experience or background in warehouse operations provides valuable insight into team coordination. Basic math skills are necessary for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments accurately.
