We're looking to add one or two dependable, hardworking individuals to our team. Experience is preferred, but not required. We're happy to train the right people who demonstrate strong work ethic, physical capability, and good judgment. Personal and professional references are strongly encouraged. What You'll Do Load, unload, carry, wrap, and protect furniture and household belongings. Assist with residential and commercial moves, furniture deliveries, and high-end white glove installations. Maneuver heavy furniture through staircases, narrow hallways, and challenging spaces. Assemble and disassemble furniture when needed. Protect customers' homes, floors, walls, and belongings. Maintain clean trucks, organized equipment, and a professional appearance. Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Take initiative, follow instructions, and contribute to a productive team. Physical Demands & Good Judgment This is physically demanding work. At times, you and one other crew member may be tasked with moving an exceptionally heavy item, such as a 350-pound sewing cabinet, into a second-floor bedroom. Other situations involve oversized armoires, top-heavy furniture, narrow staircases, and difficult spaces. We're looking for people who are strong, capable, and willing to work hard, but who also understand their limitations. Knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing how to move something. We expect crew members to recognize unsafe situations, communicate concerns, and request additional assistance when necessary. We would rather decline or reschedule a move than risk injury or damage to a customer's property. What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and hardworking. Physically capable of repeatedly lifting and maneuvering heavy furniture safely with appropriate assistance and equipment. Takes initiative and anticipates what needs to be done. Communicates well and works effectively with others. Accepts constructive feedback and is willing to learn. Demonstrates honesty, accountability, and good judgment. Maintains excellent personal hygiene and a professional appearance. Treats customers, coworkers, and their belongings with respect. Has reliable transportation to and from work. Can pass a pre-employment drug test and applicable background screening. Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are prohibited while working, in company vehicles, and on customer property. Violations may result in immediate termination. Professional moving experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants with a valid driver's license and clean driving record may have opportunities to advance into a Driver / Crew Leader position, subject to insurance eligibility and demonstrated performance. Schedule Starting part-time with full-time opportunities. Primarily Monday-Friday, daytime hours. Weekend availability as needed. No regularly scheduled overnight shifts. Hours vary based on scheduled jobs. Background Check & Drug Testing Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment drug test and applicable background screening, consistent with state and federal law.
