Mover/Packer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, and unloading items while ensuring safe handling and transportation. Responsibilities Safely load and unload household or commercial items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing appropriate packing materials and methods Operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for local moves or deliveries Follow all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines during route driving and delivery routes Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining a clean workspace Load and unload trucks efficiently using manual lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques to ensure safety Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during deliveries or pickups, addressing questions professionally Requirements Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations preferred Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience or courier/delivery driver experience Ability to operate box trucks, vans, or commercial trucks with manual transmission where applicable Experience in personal vehicle delivery or route driving is a plus Knowledge of manual handling safety practices and heavy lifting techniques to prevent injury Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts is desirable Strong adherence to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and safe driving practices Excellent physical stamina for manual lifting, moving heavy items, and standing for extended periods Comfort using mobile devices for route navigation or communication purposes Join us in delivering exceptional service through energetic teamwork!
