In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely packing, loading, unloading, and transporting items for residential and commercial clients. Duties Safely load and unload items using appropriate manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Pack belongings securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing proper packing materials and methods Operate box trucks or vans in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and adhere to traffic laws during route driving Assist with moving furniture and heavy items, practicing safe lifting practices to prevent injury Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining organization of items for quick access during deliveries or pickups Drive commercial vehicles or personal vehicles for delivery purposes, ensuring timely arrivals at customer locations Communicate professionally with clients to coordinate delivery times, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service Experience Previous warehouse experience or experience in moving or manual handling roles preferred Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving or van/delivery driving preferred Familiarity with operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies required Experience adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards necessary for safe route driving Proven ability to lift heavy loads safely while following workplace safety protocols Experience using mobile devices for route navigation or delivery documentation advantageous Prior courier or delivery driver experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and exceptional service!
