Mover/Packer

Overview As a Mover/Packer, you’ll prepare, load, transport, and deliver items safely and carefully. You’ll work in warehouse and customer settings, using sound manual handling practices and clear communication to keep each move organized. Your impact: Careful packing and delivery help customers receive their belongings in good condition and on schedule. Duties Pack, load, unload, and move household or commercial items; use safe lifting practices when handling heavy or awkward loads. Support warehouse operations, including organizing materials and operating equipment such as pallet jacks when authorized. Drive assigned vans or box trucks on local routes; follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) rules. Use mobile devices to review routes, record delivery details, and communicate updates. Provide courteous customer service during pickups and deliveries, including personal-vehicle delivery assignments when required. Skills Required: Ability to lift and handle materials safely, follow instructions, and work effectively as part of a moving crew. Relevant experience: Moving, warehouse operations, material handling, delivery driving, courier work, or van driving is useful. Driving qualifications: Commercial truck or box truck driving, manual-transmission experience, route driving, and delivery driver experience are preferred where relevant to assigned vehicles. Familiarity with pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment is an asset. Pay: $21.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: On the road
