Mover / Packer – Full-Time Company: WorkSteer Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM Overtime: Available Job Description WorkSteer is seeking dependable Movers and Packers for full-time opportunities. This position involves packing, loading, unloading, transporting, and protecting furniture, household belongings, and other items during residential and commercial moves. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous moving experience is beneficial but not required for all assignments. Responsibilities Load and unload furniture, boxes, equipment, and other items safely. Pack and wrap furniture and belongings to help prevent damage during transport. Use moving blankets, shrink wrap, packing materials, and other protective supplies. Carry and move items through homes, businesses, stairways, and loading areas. Secure items for safe transport and assist with unloading at destination locations. Follow crew leader instructions and established moving procedures. Use proper lifting techniques and team-lifting methods for heavy or bulky items. Maintain clean and organized trucks, equipment, and work areas. Provide professional and respectful service to customers. Follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications No previous moving experience required; moving, packing, warehouse, or general labor experience is a plus. Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and move furniture, boxes, and other items as required by the job. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. What We Offer Pay of $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time schedule with consistent daytime hours.
