Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Mover and become an essential part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring the safe and organized movement of goods within our facility. Your proactive approach and attention to safety will help us maintain a smooth workflow, support inventory accuracy, and uphold our commitment to safety protocols. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Safely load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes Operate material handling equipment including RF scanners, heavy lifting gear, and order picker machinery to facilitate efficient warehouse operations Assist with inventory management by accurately picking orders, organizing stock, and maintaining stock levels using inventory control systems Ensure all materials are handled manually or with heavy equipment in accordance with OSHA safety standards and safety protocol adherence Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting for damages, and documenting transactions Load and unload trucks efficiently while ensuring proper placement of goods for easy access and storage Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following warehouse procedures for safety and efficiency Qualifications Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is highly preferred Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, or order pickers is a strong advantage Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners is desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse operations best practices Commitment to safety protocol adherence in line with OSHA standards and workplace safety policies Warehouse supervisor experience or previous roles involving materials handling equipment operation are a plus Join us as a Mover to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse logistics!
