Morning Dispatcher - School Bus Company

Eden Transportation LLC is seeking a dependable, organized Morning Dispatcher to join our school bus transportation team. This is an entry-level opportunity with room to grow for someone who communicates well, has strong computer skills, and enjoys helping others. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. to approximately 2:00–2:30 p.m. Starting Pay: Applicable minimum wage, with opportunities for advancement and pay increases based on performance and growth within the company. Anticipated Start: Within the next month. Responsibilities * Coordinate daily transportation operations with drivers, bus aides, and office staff. * Monitor routes and communicate delays, schedule changes, and transportation updates. * Answer calls and messages from parents, guardians, school districts, and state officials professionally and courteously. * Maintain accurate route information, records, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. * Assist with scheduling, data entry, and general office duties. * Address concerns calmly and communicate issues to management promptly. Qualifications * Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential; you must be ready to work at 6:30 a.m. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. * Ability to type accurately and enter information efficiently. * Excellent customer service skills and a professional phone manner. * Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a busy environment. * Willingness to learn and grow with the company. Previous dispatch or school transportation experience is helpful, but we welcome candidates with strong office and customer service skills who are eager to learn.
