Mold Shop Assistant and Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are searching for a reliable and motivated team member to assist with packing, transportation, and delivery of industrial molds/materials. This is a great position for somebody who is mechanically inclined with an interest in working in a skilled trade. A clean driving record is required. We provide on the job training, and will assist with obtaining a chauffeur's license if you do not have one. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles to deliver industrial molds across designated routes while adhering to all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements. Load and unload heavy molds using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment. Inspect delivery vehicles regularly for safety compliance, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition. Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and communication. Assist with operations by moving materials within the facility using manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Communicate clearly and professionaly with clients before, during, and after delivery. Complete accurate documentation of deliveries, including shippers/BOLs and incident reports when required. Qualifications A clean driving record is required. Experience operating Hi-Lo and overhead crane preferred. Must be comfortable driving long distances (2+ hours) while transporting large/heavy items. Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week Work Location: In person
