Mobile Diesel Mechanic - Semi Trucks

Emergency RV Repair is recruiting a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to provide on-site semi-truck service in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on heavy-duty trucks, with assignments matched to your demonstrated experience, tools, and diagnostic capabilities. LOCAL SERVICE AREA This opening serves Phoenix. Tell us your preferred service area and your approach to arranging safe outdoor work during hot weather. The final dispatch territory is agreed during onboarding. This is mobile, in-person repair work. PAY AND WORK ARRANGEMENT The fixed starting rate for every new hire is $60 per hour, with weekly direct deposit and guaranteed pay increases under the company's applicable terms. Full-time W-2 positions and qualifying independent-contractor opportunities are available. The arrangement and applicable terms will be confirmed before engagement. Expected hours range from 20 to 60 per week depending on schedule and dispatch needs. Discuss your availability for flexible shifts, emergency dispatch, and on-call work during onboarding. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Diagnose diesel-engine, starting, charging, and electrical concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment. - Inspect and repair truck air systems, brakes, cooling systems, and related components within your qualifications. - Perform mobile inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs at approved fleet, parking, or roadside locations where conditions permit safe work. - Explain findings, identify repairs requiring a shop or specialist, document completed work, and coordinate with dispatch. WHAT YOU WILL BRING - Hands-on semi-truck, heavy-duty diesel, or relevant mechanical experience; describe the systems and repairs you can perform independently. - High school education. - Personal hand tools, a reliable service vehicle, and diagnostic equipment appropriate to accepted assignments. - Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable communication, and professional customer service. - ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus, not required. Accept only work within your qualifications.
