Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Swanton Sector, Mission Readiness Operations, located in Swanton, VT. Learn more about CBP's mission, core values and careers at https://www.cbp.gov/about In this position, you will plan, execute, and analyze the Division's budget, procurement, and travel programs, providing comprehensive financial and administrative support to Mission Readiness Operations. By ensuring sound financial planning, oversight, and compliance, this position enables U.S. Border Patrol units to secure and manage resources critical to effective frontline border security and accomplishment of DHS mission objectives. This position starts at a salary of $91,335.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $118,738.00 (GS-12, Step 10). GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. Typical duties of this assignment include: Formulating, developing, and executing the overall aspects of the division's budget. Developing, integrating, and executing the operating budget for the division. Managing the travel card program by serving and the certifier and/or reviewer to fund and/or approve travel authorizations and vouchers. Assisting with developing and recommending solutions to a range of operational and technical issues to evaluate and improve processes.
