Duties As a Mission Support Specialist, at the full performance level you will perform the following duties: Performing a variety of administrative and management services essential to the operations of an office building. Providing support with the annual physical inventory of nonexpendable property and equipment. Researching training opportunities using a variety of methods to accomplish training goals. Supports procurement and financial administrative processes, including purchase card actions, acquisition requests, voucher and invoice requirements, and local procedures. Maintains organizational records, administrative data, vacancy/onboard data, tables of organization, workload reports, overtime reports, and other management reports. Reviews data for patterns, trends, and process improvement opportunities. Requirements Conditions of employment You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position. You qualify for the GS-09 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Identifying administrative problems to recommend solutions in multiple specialty areas; Providing advice to staff on established methods and procedures on multiple specialty areas; Providing administrative support to various specialty areas (i.e. acquisition, training, logistics, property, records management, mail, travel, human resources, and time and attendance). OR Education: a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Or A combination of successfully completed post-high school education beyond the second year (i.e., education in excess of the first 60 semester hours) and experience which totals at least one year.
