Overview Please apply at www.Howardlumbersupply.com As a Mill Work Warehouse Specialist, you’ll keep materials moving safely and accurately through warehouse operations. You’ll receive, store, pick, package, and ship millwork products while using warehouse equipment and inventory systems. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers and coworkers get the right materials when they need them. Responsibilities Handle shipping and receiving, stocking, picking and packing, and loading and unloading materials. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, order pickers, cherry pickers, as authorized. Use radio-frequency (RF) scanners, inventory management software, a warehouse management system (WMS). Perform inventory control, warehouse distribution, and logistics tasks; check quantities using basic math. Follow safety regulations and protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and complete heavy lifting and manual handling safely. Qualifications Warehouse experience in warehouse operations, distribution, inventory management, or materials handling is preferred. Experience operating material handling equipment and heavy equipment is preferred; equipment use must follow applicable authorization and safety requirements. Familiarity with inventory control, warehouse management, order picking, packaging, and shipping and receiving is an asset. Demonstrate technical proficiency with warehouse systems and scanners Follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and safety procedures. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
