Mill Operator/Warehouse

Job Overview We are seeking to train a Mill Operator for our fast-paced feed mill in Jackson, MN. The ideal candidate should have some background in agriculture and livestock. The candidate must be able to lift/carry 50-pound bags. This role requires attention to detail, mathematical and mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with other employees. Responsibilities Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees always. Package product according to production schedule requirements and production sequencing requirements. Dispose of spill, partial bag, and flush material in accordance with rework and flushing guidelines. Weigh, load, and unload trucks and customer vehicles. Carry out housekeeping duties as directed. Some housekeeping will require going to the top of the mill. Following the direction of the supervisor and management. Notify supervisor of any manufacturing problems. Responsible for the inspection of equipment before loading. Complete the required paperwork accurately and on time. Follow biosecurity rules and BSE rules. Experience preferred Attention to detail is required. Proficiency in basic math and writing skills for measurements and calculations related to milling tasks. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not required. Previous forklift experience is preferred.
