Merchandise Processor - Sylvania

Merchandise Processors are responsible for preparing, tagging, and placing merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring that customers have access to the best selection possible. Responsibilities Tag, label, hang, package, and place merchandise on the sales floor in the correct department by size, style, and color according to company standards. Maintain merchandising standards to ensure an organized and customer-friendly shopping experience. Backstock inventory as needed using inventory management tools. Reprint tags as necessary to ensure accurate pricing and information. Sanitize select merchandise with fiber fill as required by law. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward team members and customers. Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations. Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to stand for 410 hours and perform repetitive motions such as tagging, typing, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, walking, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb a ladder as needed. Attention to detail for inspecting and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Availability to start shifts early, before normal business hours, approximately 8am. Store opens at 10am.
