Medical Courier - On call / Per Diem

We are currently looking for an individual who can work on a per-diem basis to cover time-off requests. This position is ideally suited to a retired individual, or someone who works in the "gig economy" and has some flexibility Duties and Responsibilities . Transports specimens from client offices to laboratory in a timely and safe manner Maintain patient confidentially and follow all HIPAA protocol Transports reports and supplies to client offices Verifies specimen count with client and accessioning department (basic math) Professional with clients at all times Communicates any client concerns with supervisor Responsible for communication of company vehicle maintenance needs Must be comfortable driving around the city of Rochester, Syracuse & Buffalo Follow all vehicle safety rules Follow all COVID regulations IE. Masking, hand washing, etc. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a NYS drivers license. Will run a drivers abstract prior to hire. Must have less then 3 points on your license and not show a pattern of distracted driving. Language Ability: Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
