Medical courier

Job Overview As a Medical Courier, you’ll keep essential deliveries moving safely and on schedule. You’ll transport medical items between facilities and delivery locations, handle loads with care, and communicate professionally with customers and receiving staff. This role combines route driving, careful manual handling, and dependable customer service. Follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and traffic rules throughout each route. Duties Pick up, load, transport, and unload medical items while protecting them from damage and following handling instructions. Drive assigned routes using a van, box truck, personal vehicle, or other approved vehicle; use mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates. Verify delivery details, maintain accurate records, and promptly report delays or issues. Apply safe lifting practices when moving heavy items; use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate. Your impact: Careful, timely deliveries help healthcare teams receive the supplies they need to support patients. Skills Required: Valid driving credentials appropriate to the assigned vehicle, safe driving habits, and the ability to follow traffic regulations and route instructions. Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, commercial driving, or commercial truck driving experience; familiarity with manual transmission is helpful. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, and material handling equipment operation are useful. Able to load and unload items, perform manual handling and moving tasks, and meet workplace weight-handling requirements safely. Strong customer service, attention to detail, and comfort using mobile devices. Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour Work Location: In person
