About the Role The Media Buyer is a key member of ODN’s high-performing, client-focused media team, responsible for delivering strategic, fiscally responsible, and effective media plans that exceed client expectations. This role is actively involved in the full media lifecycle—from planning and purchasing through implementation and analysis—while maintaining alignment with ODN’s standards and culture. This role is ideal for an organized, adaptable media professional with 3+ years of media planning or buying experience who can manage budgets, coordinate with clients and vendors, and execute accurate, timely media plans in a fast-paced remote environment. Using ODN’s proprietary media planning platform, the Media Buyer works closely with clients, vendors, production partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution and support long-term growth for both clients and ODN. What You Will Be Doing Execute media planning and buying responsibilities with a client-first approach, strong attention to detail, fiscal responsibility, and close collaboration across teams. Develop and implement strategic, accurate, and timely media plans tailored to client goals. Manage assigned media budgets responsibly, including accurate tracking, reporting, and execution. Collaborate with vendors and internal production teams to coordinate delivery and implementation. Maintain client satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Partner across departments to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of all media plans. Stay informed on industry trends and proactively identify new opportunities for client media strategies. Coordinate experiential, digital, traditional, programmatic, and non-traditional out-of-home media. Support the Media Director and management team with projects and attend client meetings, presentations, and out-of-state market visits. What You Will Need to Be Successful Strong client service skills and the ability to build productive relationships with clients and vendors. A high level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and attention to detail when managing media budgets. Familiarity with traditional, digital, experiential, and programmatic OOH media formats preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adjust plans and priorities as needs evolve. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with media planning platforms is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in media planning or buying; OOH experience is preferred, and agency or vendor experience. Remote Work & Physical Requirements This full-time, exempt role operates in a fully remote work environment. Standard business hours are generally Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; however, employees are expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill role responsibilities, which may occasionally include evenings or weekends.
