With more than 30 years of experience in Canada’s North, our work spans plumbing, heating, HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, insulation, and building automation. We’re growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and leading a team toward a successful finish. You’ll manage mechanical construction projects from award through commissioning and turnover, working closely with our construction management team, foremen, project coordinators, clients, and consultants. What you’ll lead Project delivery: Take ownership of scope, schedules, budgets, procurement, and execution from start to finish. Team coordination: Give foremen and coordinators clear priorities, help resolve challenges, and keep everyone working toward the same milestones. Northern logistics: Plan materials, equipment, shipping, and site requirements around remote access and seasonal delivery windows. Financial performance: Track labour, purchasing, committed costs, and forecasts. Identify risks early and act before they become expensive problems. Technical coordination: Review drawings and specifications, manage RFIs and submittals, and coordinate mechanical systems with other trades. Change management: Identify scope changes, prepare pricing, document impacts, and follow through on approvals. Client relationships: Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, consultants, general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Safety and quality: Support our commitment to safe production through practical planning, clear expectations, and consistent follow-through. Project closeout: Coordinate commissioning, deficiencies, documentation, and turnover so projects finish as strongly as they start. Continuous improvement: Bring ideas that help us plan better, communicate clearly, and deliver more efficiently. What you bring You know mechanical construction, understand the numbers, and can keep a team moving when priorities compete. You’re comfortable making decisions, asking the right questions, and taking responsibility for the outcome. We’re looking for: A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in mechanical construction , including responsibility for budgets, schedules, procurement, and delivery. Strong knowledge of commercial, institutional, or multi-family mechanical systems, including plumbing, heating, and HVAC. Demonstrated experience with cost forecasting, labour tracking, change orders, and subcontractor coordination. Confidence reading mechanical drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Practical experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, scheduling tools, and construction management software . Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage multiple projects, organize competing priorities, and follow through on commitments. A willingness to travel to northern project sites as required.
