Mechanical Construction Project Engineer

Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent construction experience may be considered. Experience 3-7 years of experience in civil, mechanical construction, WWPS, Water Works, Powerplant & Refinery piping, SCADA controls, industrial, or commercial construction projects. Experience with design-build and negotiated projects preferred. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar construction software. Experience with P6 software and CPM schedule development and updating. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and contracts. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, industrial piping, and mechanical equipment installation. Knowledge Mechanical systems installation methods. Construction P6 scheduling techniques. Material procurement processes. Cost tracking and project controls. OSHA safety requirements. Construction contracts and project documentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Physical Requirements Ability to work in both office and construction site environments. Frequent site visits requiring walking, climbing ladders, and navigating active construction areas. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
