Please visit our website for more company information at www.garagesupply.ca Position Garage Supply Contractingis looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanic / Service Technician/Installer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone with a strong mechanical background who also has some experience working as a service technician. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing company heavy vehicles and equipment, while also assisting with service calls, installatoins and customer equipment when required. What You’ll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain company vehicles, trucks, and equipment Perform preventative maintenance and general mechanical repairs Assist with service calls/installations involving vehicle hoists, pressure washers, car washes, hydraulic systems, and related equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Travel to customer locations as required to complete service and repairs Complete service reports and document work accurately Identify parts and materials required for repairs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work collaboratively with our Service and Operations teams Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements What We’re Looking For Valid AZ/DZ Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably with commercial vehicles, trucks, or heavy equipment Experience operating excavators, skid steers, loaders and various other equpment associated with general construction Some previous service technician or field service experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems is an asset Comfortable working independently and at customer locations Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship Good communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple service requirements A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Responsibilities Confidently read shop drawings/blueprints & install equipment accordingly Follow written & verbal instruction, asking for clarification when necessary Bring a "Team Player" attitude to work daily Have the ability to work solo or with other team members. Maintain professionalism in appearance, dress, & personal conduct Maintain a valid driver's license & clean drivers abstract Operate skyjacks, Forklifts, & like equipment in a safe, efficient manner Perform Miscellaneous tasks as required Requirements/Assets Valid G Class Drivers License -Requirement Clean Drivers Abstract – Requirement 3 Years Skilled Labor Experience – Asset AZ / DZ Class License – Asset Experience fastening equipment to concrete and steel structures - Asset Working at Heights - Requirement WHIMIS, Lock Out Tag Out, Fall Arrest, Forklift, & Skyjack certificates are an asset!
